Cost Share Program Funding Available
All county landowners, contact the conservation office and find out how you could possibly qualify for state financial assistance to improve your land. The Conservation District is conducting a county-wide sign up for interested owners and operators. Now accepting requests for state cost share assistance for the 2023 program year. Funding provided by the Division of Conservation, Kansas Department of Agriculture through appropriation from the Kansas Water Plan Fund. All practices must meet the NRCS standards and specs. Work may not begin until project is under contract to be eligible for funding. Non-point Source and Water Resources Programs provide cost share percentages of 50% or 70% depending on which practices are planned. Please stop by the office to discuss practices available.
